Eleanor & Park || Review || Spoiler Free

Hello Everyone
Last week I read the book Eleanor & Park. A cute and sad book about two misfits falling in love.
It's written by well known author Rainbow Rowell (also author of Fangirl, Attachments and Landline)
Click HERE for the goodreads page of Eleanor & Park to find more information about the book

This book in, in one word, beautiful!
Lets starts with Rainbow Rowell's writing style. It's so gorgeous and so unique! The way she discribe the feelings of the characters is so wonderful.

Quote from the book:
"Eleanor never looked nice. She looked like art and art wasn't supposed to look nice"

The characters are very special to me. I really could relate to them. They felt so real to me and I cared about them a lot while I was reading the book. (and I still think and care about them)
A lot of people say that they find Eleanor annoying. But I thought she was a very realistic and wonderful character. If I was in a situation like hers, I would react the same way.
And Park.. Well, he's just perfect. I love him so much. I want a boyfriend like him!! He's also very realistic, which made me love him even more.

This story started really cute. I was constantly smiling and hugging the book. But after a little while it gets pretty dark. Eleanor's situation really touched me.
The ending is SO sad. I was crying like a baby. Still, I thing it was a good ending. I'm over it now and I'm okay with it.

I don't know if I love this one more than Fangirl (Rainbow Rowell's other YA book). I don't thing it's fair to compare such a different books to each other.
Fangirl is a lot happier and more cutesy.
Eleanor & Park is a lot darker and sadder.
I loved them both, they both have a really special place in my heart :)
