Title: End of Days
Series: Third book in Penryn & the End of Days trilogy
Author: Susan Ee
Format: Paperback
Page Count: 344
Rating: 5/5 stars

This was an amazing conclusion to a fantastic trilogy! It definitely lifted up to all my expectations!
It was kick-ass, heartbreaking, scary and, like the other two books, full of humor.

This books starts right where world after ends. It's all just as past paced and action packed as I wanted it to be.
I hadn't realized how much I had missed Penryn and Raffe. They are so funny, snarky and cute. I absolutely love them, as individuals and as a pair.
Penryn and Raffe are not the only characters that I had missed, it was so good to see the twins again. They're hilarious!

The humor in this book was very important for me. This is because everything that happens in this book, the way humanity is getting destroyed, the heartbreaking things the angels do to the people are just so heartbreaking to read about. It had me in tears multiple times. It was good that there was a lot of comic relieve to light the situation up.
How screwed up the humans are because of the angels really got to me in this book. Of course we already see a lot of this in the first two books. The things that happen to Paige and a lot of other people are already shown in the first two books, but it just really got to me in this third one.
In this book I wasn't just rooting for Penryn en her family, but for the whole human race.

This book made me so proud of Penryn, she is such a strong character! She had grown a lot since the first book. I'm also very proud of her mom in some way. Her mom is one hell of a character and I love the whole relation between Penryn, her mom and her sister. Though, it's really heartbreaking sometimes.

I think Susan Ee did a great job writing this conclusion. At first, when I heard that this series that was officially going to be a 5 books series was shortened to only 3 books, I was scared this last one was going to be very rushed, but that didn't happen. I think this is a great end to this trilogy.
There were epic fights, good romance moments and moment when I felt proud of the human race. This book really does have a special place in my heart. This whole trilogy does, to be honest.
I will miss all the great characters now I've finished this trilogy!

I definitely think Susan Ee did a great job writing this book. I absolutely recommend this book and the other two books in this trilogy.
