2015 Reading & Blog Resolutions
It's a new year, which means new books, new challenges and 365 more days of reading!
Last year I did a goodread challenge to read 40 books which I did complete.
This year I want to do more than a goodreads challenge.
This year is going to be a very busy year for me. I already know I won't have a lot of time for reading, but I also know reading is something you need to make time for.
This year I am going to try to read 25 books. I know it is not a lot compared to last year and compared to a lot of other people, but for me this sounds like a lot at the moment.
I also want to do the TBR-jar challenge. I got this idea from Katytastic on youtube. Click HERE to watch the video she made about it for more information.
But basically I put 12 reading challenges in a jar and take one out every month so I can read a book that month that will complete the challenge. I want to do this because I like to read what I feel like reading, but still being challenged.
You can make up the challenges yourself if you want. The challenges that I put in my jar are:
1. Read a book that was a gift to you, because I feel really bad when it's months later and I still haven't read a book that someone else bought for me.
2. Read a book that's on your e-reader, because I always forget about the books I have on my e-reader when I'm making my TBR lists.
3. Read a book that's over the 500 pages, because I got to get through the bigger books on my shelf.
4. Read a Fantasy book, because I want to read a lot more fantasy!
5. Read a Historical-Fiction, because I really enjoy historical-fiction, but I barley have read any.
6. Read a book that you own longer than 10 months, because they need to be read some day.
7. Read a book that fits with the current season, because I always plan on reading, like, contemporary in summer and dark books in fall and stuff, but I never actually do it.
8. Re-read one of you favorites, because I love re-reading :)
9. Read a book with blue on the cover, because, why not?
10. Read a book that's on your goodreads TBR since the beginning, because it really is time to finally get to those.
11. Finish a series that you've already started, because I hate it when I have a lot of series open.
12. Read a book by an author that is new to you, because I love discovering new authors.
So, this is what I want to do this year when it comes to reading.
Then I also have this blog.
The last few months I haven't been active on this blog. The main reason for this was that I wan't really reading anymore. And when I didn't read, there was nothing for me to write about on this blog.
Since I'm planning on reading more this year, I also want to pick up this blog again. I love reading and I love blogging about books and reading, so I really want to do this.
I'm going to write reviews, wrap-ups, tbr's and hopefully a lot more.
I'm planning on doing read-a-thons, so I will write about those too!
I will write a 'plans for my blog' soon!
That's it for me. Comment what your plans for 2015 are,
Big love!
